Abstrak

This research advocates for the implementation of differentiated learning as a potent strategy to bolster literacy levels in Indonesia. In the midst of a rapidly evolving educational landscape, differentiated learning emerges as a pedagogical approach that provides diverse pathways for individual students to nurture and leverage their unique potentials. The significance of literacy, a foundational skill encompassing proficient text comprehension and effective communication, cannot be understated, as it substantially contributes to shaping individuals who are equipped for competitiveness and active participation in society. While encouraging shifts in literacy proficiency have been detected, challenges continue to linger, particularly in rural areas where access to quality education may be limited. This research centers around fifth-grade students enrolled at SD Negeri 2 Karangluhur, with an implementation focus on differentiated learning. Remarkably, the findings reveal a substantial enhancement in literacy attainment subsequent to the approach's deployment. The results underscore the potential of differentiated learning to be a pivotal solution in addressing Indonesia's literacy challenges. By providing tailored and adaptable learning environments, this approach can empower students to acquire literacy skills effectively. Thus, differentiated learning aligns with the evolving educational requirements, highlighting the significance of personalized teaching methodologies to elevate and sustain literacy standards across diverse contexts. Ultimately, this research offers insights into a pedagogical paradigm that not only bolsters literacy but also fosters inclusive and adaptable learning environments.
