Abstrak

This study aims to describe information about the School Literacy Movement by utilizing reading corners in elementary schools. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative with data sources from school principals, class teachers, and students. The collection method in this study is through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that the School Literacy Movement can be carried out by utilizing part of the classroom as a Reading Corner. The implementation is routine by cooperating with various parties in the manufacturing process. Efforts to add a variety of reading collections in the reading corner are made so that students do not feel bored reading in the reading corner.
