Abstrak

 

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the need to develop animated video media in learning to write poetry. Needs analysis is carried out at an early stage in the ADDIE development model, namely Analysis. The analysis carried out was in the form of Learning Outcomes (CP) analysis and analysis of teacher and student needs for animated video media in learning to write poetry for grade IV elementary school students. Animated videos are created using www.Doratoon.com platform. The instrument used in this study is a questionnaire with quantitative data types and is a closed questionnaire. The distribution of this questionnaire uses  a google form  in the form of a link that is filled out online. The results of the needs analysis of 4 grade IV teachers and 58 grade IV students in 4 elementary schools in Gunungkidul Regency showed that 75% of teachers stated that animated video media was interesting, 75% of teachers stated the need and agreed to use animated video media in learning to write on poetry material in Indonesian subjects. The results of the analysis on students showed that 95% of students stated that animated video media was interesting and 93% of students stated that it was necessary to use animated video media in learning to write on poetry material in Indonesian subjects. Based on this research, it can be concluded that there needs to be a development of animated video media in learning to write poetry in grade IV elementary school students.
