Learning using the lecture method and rarely applying group learning causes less student interest during the learning process. This affects student learning outcomes. This study aims to increase the interest and learning outcomes of third grade students of SD Negeri Baturono in mathematics by using the Problem Based Learning model. Data collection techniques were obtained by observation and written tests. This type of research is Classroom Action Research, which takes place over two cycles. The research subjects were third grade students of SD Negeri Baturono, in the 2021/2022 school year totaling 10 students. The object of research is the interests and learning outcomes of students. Data collection techniques were obtained by observation, questionnaires, documentation and written tests. The results showed that learning using the Problem Based Learning model has increased. Data from observations and questionnaires on learning interest showed an increase in the average percentage of student interest in learning in the first cycle of 64.50% with a strong category and increased to 87.50% in the second cycle with a very strong category. And student learning outcomes in the first cycle showed that the average class in the first cycle was 68.50 and increased in the second cycle, which was 83. While the students’ mastery in the first cycle was 50% and increased in the second cycle to 80%. So that the research is considered complete with the results of the study showing that the average score of students increased by 14.50% and the percentage of mastery learning increased by 30%. The conclusion of this study shows that the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model can increase the interest and learning outcomes of third grade students in SD Negeri Baturono in mathematics.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Keywords</strong><em>: </em>Problem Based Learning_1; Interest in Learning_2; learning outcomes_3; mathematics _4</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Abstrak:</strong> Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi penggunaan media dan metode mengajar yang masih kurang menarik bagi siswa sehingga menyebabkan siswa kurang minat dalam pembelajaraan. Pembelajaran menggunakan metode ceramah dan jarang menerapkan belajar secara berkelompok menyebabkan minat siswa kurang saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Hal tersebut berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas III SD Negeri Baturono dengan menggunakan model <em>Problem Based Learning</em>. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh dengan observasi dan tes tertulis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, berlangsung selama dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas III SD Negeri Baturono, tahun pelajaran 2021/2022 berjumlah 10 siswa. Objek penelitian adalah minat dan hasil belajar siswa.
