Abstract

This research aims to support student understanding of probability using the PMRI approach  through the context of the Prabumulih City snack market. This research was carried out at SMAN 6 Prabumulih. The subjects of this research were the students of grade 12. This research is qualitative research with  a validation study type design research method. The instruments used in this research are observation, documentation, interviews and test. In this study, researcher resulted a hypothetical learning trajectory (HLT) . The results of data analysis concluded that the activities learning through context of Prabumulih City snack market can help the student to understanding the concept of probability.
