Analisis Aspek Fundamental Matematika pada Alat Musik Slenthem, Gender, dan Gong

This study aims to find out what aspects of ethnomathematics exist in Javanese Gamelan based on fundamental mathematical activities in ethnomathematics. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research. The data was obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. The instruments in this research consist of the main instrument, namely the researcher himself, and auxiliary instruments in the form of interview guides and documentation tools. The results of this study show that there are fundamental mathematical activities in ethnomathematics, such as counting, locating, measuring, designing, playing, and explaining Javanese gamelan. It is possible to prepare mathematics teaching materials using Javanese gamelan ethnomathematics so that mathematics contributes to the preservation of national culture with the existence of fundamental mathematical activities on Javanese gamelan musical instruments.
