Abstract

Artificial intelligence is one of the issues that people are concerned about in daily life, especially in education. ChatGPT (Generative Pre-Training Transformer), also called artificial intelligence, was developed by OpenAI. It is an artificial intelligence that many consider to disrupt the integrity of education. This research aims to describe how students use ChatGPT in English writing skills and avoid plagiarism. The method used in this research is qualitative, and the data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and analysis of test results. The expected result of this study is that students are reasonably integrated into the use of ChatGPT and avoid plagiarism.
