The findings indicated that the students were still unable to understand English reading. Some of the obstacles faced by students in reading comprehension. The students were categorized as having low reading comprehension by lecturers’ perception that the students had some strategies in reading comprehension. All strategies were used to help the students comprehend their reading texts.
