Analisis Kesalahan Siswa Kelas X SMA dalam Menyelesaikan Soal Vektor di R3

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the errors made by students in solving vector problems in R3. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The population in this study were 34 students of class X MIPA 5 SMAN 1 Kampar Timur. The data collection technique used was a written test question instrument to find out the errors made by students. Based on the results of the study, the percentage of students who made mistakes in working on vector problems in R3 was as follows:1) Students make a conceptual error, with the percentage for question no. 1 is 15.38%, for question no. 2 is 6.59% and for question no. 3 is 7.96%, 2) Students make procedural errors with the percentage for question no. 1 is 14.29%, for question no. 2 is 16.48% and for question no. 3 is 16.48%, 3) Students make technical errors with the percentage for question no. 1 is 23.08%, for question no. 2 is 9.89% and for question no. 3 is 8.79%. The mistakes that many students make in vector material in R3 are conceptual errors and procedural errors.
