Menganalisis Tingkat Fokus dan Konsentrasi Belajar Siswa SMK dalam Pembelajaran Matematika

This research aims to analyze the level of focus and concentration of vocational school students in learning mathematics. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques in this research are observation and interviews. The population in this study were students of SMK Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta 1. Learning concentration is the ability to focus attention on lessons. Focus and concentration in learning is one indicator that can make it easier for students to achieve learning goals. Many factors can influence a student’s level of focus and concentration in learning. The result show that the level of focus and concentration in vocational school students’ mathematics learning is influenced by several factors. One of the factors that support the level of focus and concentration of vocational school students’ in learning mathematics is conducive classroom conditions and the influence of friends during learning. Factors of focus and concentration in learning also comes from oneself, namely lack of motivation to learn and low interest in learning. It is hoped that this research can be a reference for further research regarding the level of student focus and concentration in learning.
