Abstract

Critical thinking ability is needed in solving math problems. However, in reality, this ability is still low, one of the factors causing it is the lack of interaction between teachers and students in the classroom. Therefore, an alternative solution is to implement the Flipped Classroom model in learning. This study aims to review some literature related to the Flipped Classroom model in improving mathematical critical thinking skills. The method used in this research is Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The search for articles/proceedings was carried out using the keyword mathematical critical thinking skills in the Flipped Classroom model published in 2019-2023. The results of this study indicate that the Flipped Classroom model is a useful learning model to improve mathematical critical thinking ability, and the findings of the most widely used articles/proceedings are quantitative methods, with the most publication years in 2022 and 2023, and the most publications come from Indonesia and the United States.
