Abstract

This research aims to examine several literature related to the CORE learning model for developing critical mathematical thinking skills. The research method used in this research is the SLR method. Journal searches were carried out using the keywords Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, and Extending learning models and mathematical critical thinking skills published in 2019-2023. The results of this research show that: 1) research related to the CORE learning model on students' mathematical critical thinking abilities trends to be mostly carried out at the junior high school level; 2) the CORE learning model can improve students' critical mathematical thinking skills, in addition to making the CORE learning model more effective in increasing students' enthusiasm and activeness, it can be done by adding appropriate learning approaches; 3) indicators of critical thinking skills recommended by researchers for use in the CORE learning model are the stages and indicators proposed by Perkins and Murphy which include: clarification, assessment, inference, and strategies/tactics.
