PENINGKATAN MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING PADA PEMBELAJARAN PPKN SISWA KELAS II SD NEGERI 3 BANTUL

Abstrak

Abstract: This study aims to 1) find out that the Problem Based Learning model can increase the motivation of class II students at SD Negeri 3 Bantul in learning Civics, 2) to find out that the Problem Based Learning model can improve the learning outcomes of class II students at SD Negeri 3 Bantul in learning Civics. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) which consists of two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were the second grade students of SD Negeri 3 Bantul for the academic year 2022/2023, totaling 23 students. The object of this research is to increase motivation and learning outcomes in Civics subjects. Data collection techniques obtained by questionnaires and written tests. Data analysis in this study used quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis.

The results showed: (1) The application of the Problem Based Learning model for class II SD Negeri 3 Bantul can increase students' learning motivation. This is shown in the pre-action obtained an average score of 43.30 with a percentage of 54% (medium), then increased in the first cycle the average score of 50.65 with a percentage of 62% category (high). then increased in the second cycle obtained an average score of 67.74 with a percentage of 85% (very high). The application of the Problem Based Learning model for class II SD Negeri 3 Bantul can improve student learning outcomes. This is indicated by the increase in the average test scores on Civics subjects from the initial condition (pre-action) 47 with a percentage of 42%, increasing in the first cycle to 75 with a percentage of 65%, then increasing in the second cycle to 82 with a percentage of 81%.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) untuk mengetahui model Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan motivasi siswa kelas II SD Negeri 3 Bantul dalam pembelajaran PPKn, 2) untuk mengetahui model Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas II SD Negeri 3 Bantul dalam pembelajaran PPKn. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas II SD Negeri 3 Bantul tahun  pelajaran 2022/ 2023 yang berjumlah 23 siswa. Objek penelitian ini adalah peningkatan motivasi dan hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran PPKn. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh dengan kuesioner dan tes tertulis. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Penerapan model Problem Based Learning untuk kelas II  SD Negeri 3 Bantul dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan pada pratindakan diperoleh skor rata-rata 43.30 dengan persentase 54% (sedang), kemudian meningkat pada siklus I rata-rata skor 50.65 dengan persentase 62% kategori (tinggi). kemudian meningkat di siklus II diperoleh skor rata-rata 67,74 dengan persentase  85% (sangat tinggi). Penerapan model Problem Based Learning untuk kelas II SD Negeri 3 Bantul dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari peningkatan nilai rata-rata ulangan pada mata pelajaran PPKn dari kondisi awal (pratindakan) 47 dengan persentase 42%, meningkat pada siklus I menjadi 75 dengan persentase 65%, kemudian meningkat pada siklus II  menjadi 82 dengan persentase 81 %.
